#1: Throw away all junk food in your house. Replace it with fresh fruits, vegetables, healthy nuts, lean proteins like fish and chicken and quality carbohydrates such as oatmeal and brown rice.
#2 - Sign up for a gym membership and hire a personal trainer for the next three months. After paying in advance you will have greater drive to keep with it. If you make it past those three months it will become a habit for you.
#3 - Join an organized sports team such as baseball, softball or basketball or consider signing up for a class that teaches yoga, martial arts or kick-boxing.
#4: Do some research on healthy fasting and get yourself started with a week long fasting period.
Educating yourself and determining the solution that works most effectively for you and your goals is the best way to lose weight. By no means is it easy, but it is effective and let’s face it, if you have fifty or more pounds to get rid of you need to do something extreme to start getting rid of the excess weight.
Many experts in the health market do not like fasting, but they do admit that it is a rapid way to lose weight. Many cultures and religions use fasting as a means to cleanse the body and spirit and even mainstream western medicine is coming to the realization that occasional fasting can be healthy. A one-week cleanse can help boost your dieting results and help you to purge your body of bad foods and break bad habits that could hurt your weight loss plan. When done properly, a cleanse can be an effective weight loss tool that will help you in many areas.
